Hospice Day of Giving

The Barnes Firm is proud to participate in the 2nd annual Hospice & Palliative Care Day of Giving after the huge success it had during its inaugural social media fundraising event held in 2021.

Participants in 2022 can donate to the cause by sponsoring an hour on fundraising day. The event will be promoted across the organization’s social media (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, etc.) utilizing the hashtags #HospiceDayofGiving and #OneMissionOneDay.

Robert Schreck, Managing Attorney at The Barnes Firm and member of the Hospice Board of Directors, continues to show his everlasting support and generosity for this cause by participating again this year.

More about Hospice & Palliative Care Buffalo & the Hospice Day of Giving

Hospice & Palliative Care Buffalo (HPCB) is the only program of its kind in Erie County. This organization cares for individuals suffering from serious illness, as well as their family members and caregivers, and is largely focused on enhancing the quality of life for thousands of people in Erie County every day.

The Hospice Day of Giving is a day dedicated to raising much needed funds as well as creating awareness for the organization and the role it plays in serving the Western New York Community.

The Hospice Day of Giving is an all-day event and will be held on Tuesday, June 14th, 2022.

The Organization Looks to Raise More for 2022

According to the organization, the funds raised will go directly to vital patient care and help HPCB continue their mission: to provide care, support, advocacy, and education to people in Erie County impacted by serious illness and loss.

According to WKBW Buffalo, Hospice Buffalo’s Director of Development, Jenine Trzewieczynski, says all the funds raised will go into their unrestricted funding which will directly support patient care.

When one donates to HPCB, he or she is helping individuals suffering from serious illness, as well as their families and caregivers. HPCB provides an integrative, holistic (physical, emotional, social, and spiritual) approach to care that focuses on the whole person, rather than on individual symptoms, to enhance quality of life.
