Hospice & Palliative Care Buffalo

Hospice Day of Giving

Day of Giving Hospice Buffalo The Barnes Firm attorneys were proud to take part in giving back to the Buffalo community through Hospice & Palliative Care Buffalo (HPCB), the only program of its kind in Erie County. This organization cares for individuals suffering from serious illness, as well as their family members and caregivers, and is largely focused on enhancing the quality of life for thousands of people in Erie County every day.

Hospice & Palliative Care Buffalo celebrated their inaugural Annual Hospice Day of Giving, a new social media fundraising event the organization will now traditionally celebrate annually on the second Tuesday of June.

Participants were invited to donate to the cause by sponsoring an hour on the designated fundraising day. The event was promoted across the organization’s social media (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, etc.) utilizing the hashtags #HospiceDayofGiving and #OneMissionOneDay.

Bob Schreck, a managing attorney at The Barnes Firm, and a member of the Hospice Board of Directors, sponsored the 10 a.m. hour during the first annual Hospice Day of Giving, kicking off the hour with a personal message captured on video.
